Live at the XK Intersection

Field Notes
Four ways I look at the world. Tap a circle.
EExperienceWhere you can find me
Yes, I'm a mermaid (see About). You'll always find me near water. Underwater is a whole other life, and it's my safe place.
CCreativityWhat inspires me
I'm always somewhere new, and my friends and family have stopped being surprised by where I turn up. You'll find me with a camera or on a walk, taking photos that challenge how I see the world and teach me to really look.
PPerspectiveWhat shifts my mindset
I've set a goal to meet at least one new person every week. Every person is a window onto how someone else sees the world, and you never know what you'll learn.
UUniverseCulture fun fact
In Paris I ate only steak tartare, escargot and frog legs for three days straight, every meal, to find the best one.

Motio
Sportswear Packaging

Mg= Magnesium. The element of your excellence.
Overview
Motio is a magnesium-infused sportswear brand designed to support athletic performance and recovery by delivering essential minerals through fabric during physical activity.

Athletes and highly active individuals often lose essential minerals through sweat, which can lead to muscle soreness, fatigue, and slower recovery. While supplements exist, they are not always convenient or effectively absorbed, creating a need for alternative ways to support performance and recovery.

Inspired by athletic training and an interest in health and supplements, the project explores how sportswear can deliver magnesium directly through fabric technology. Product design and packaging emphasize materiality—drawing visual cues from rock, minerals, and natural forms—to communicate the connection between magnesium, performance, and the body.

The project resulted in a performance-focused brand system including magnesium-infused leggings, compression sleeves, socks, and supporting packaging. The visual identity and product design communicate strength, movement, and the natural origin of magnesium while targeting elite athletes and wellness-focused consumers.

Brand Identity & Strategy

Motio’s identity combines a scientific framework with dynamic composition, using magnesium’s periodic properties, such as atomic number 12 as key visual markers. Grid systems, data lines, and layered forms create a sense of motion and structure, expressing performance through both science and design.

Point of Purchase Display (POP)

Designed to embody motion, the display uses a tilted, dynamic form that mirrors both athletic movement and the brand’s forward-leaning identity. The five-shelf system organizes products with clarity, while reinforcing Motio’s focus on performance and progression.

Advertisement Campaign
Using magnesium as the core concept, the campaign plays on “Mg” to create bold, high-impact headlines across out-of-home placements. The messaging connects performance and materiality, reinforcing magnesium as the element of excellence.
