Live at the XK Intersection

Field Notes
Four ways I look at the world. Tap a circle.
EExperienceWhere you can find me
Yes, I'm a mermaid (see About). You'll always find me near water. Underwater is a whole other life, and it's my safe place.
CCreativityWhat inspires me
I'm always somewhere new, and my friends and family have stopped being surprised by where I turn up. You'll find me with a camera or on a walk, taking photos that challenge how I see the world and teach me to really look.
PPerspectiveWhat shifts my mindset
I've set a goal to meet at least one new person every week. Every person is a window onto how someone else sees the world, and you never know what you'll learn.
UUniverseCulture fun fact
In Paris I ate only steak tartare, escargot and frog legs for three days straight, every meal, to find the best one.

QIK
Futuristic Experiential Design

Travel smarter, QIKer.

Overview
QIK is a speculative teleportation service designed to make instant travel feel safe, human, and accessible in a future where teleportation becomes part of everyday life.

Teleportation represents an entirely new form of travel, which can make the technology feel abstract, intimidating, or unsafe. Without clear communication, people may struggle to understand how it works or why they should trust it, creating a gap between futuristic technology and everyday human experience.

Inspired by the experience of living far from family and the desire to instantly bridge long distances, the concept explores teleportation as a tool for connection, work, aid, and learning. The brand organizes these uses into clear sectors—Aid, Connect, and Learn—and communicates them through copywriting, advertising, and spatial design that guides users through how teleportation works.

The project resulted in a comprehensive brand system including a teleportation center concept, access passport, instructional guides, advertising, uniforms, and a website experience. The visual language balances clarity and friendliness with futuristic design to signal a transportation system built for the future.

Brand Identity & Strategy

While Qik pushes a futuristic concept, the brand is designed to feel human and accessible. A blend of tech-driven visuals and playful elements creates a system that feels both advanced and relatable.

Advertisement Campaign

Structured around Qik’s key sectors, the campaign uses direct, modular headlines to highlight real-world impact. Each line reframes teleportation as a human-centered solution—supporting care, learning, and connection.

Out of Home (OOH): Taxis display the ad as holograms rather than traditional print advertisements.

Teleportation Collateral

A suite of teleportation collateral—including passports, bag tags, stamps, a Qik guide, ID patches, and worker uniforms, builds a cohesive system that makes the experience feel real, navigable, and immersive.

Worker Uniforms: The vests shown above represent the uniform for each sector.

A QIK guide to Teleportation: A user-friendly pamphlet designed to help travelers navigate the teleportation process with confidence.

Teleportation Bag & Personal Belongings Tags: Designed to ensure items remain identifiable and don't get lost during transit.
Teleportation Passport

The Practicality

By showing people actively using patches and tagging belongings, the system emphasizes safety and human responsibility within teleportation. These moments make the experience feel both secure and believable.
